WATER FOR ELEPHANTS FAST FIVE Jaded asked: why no opportunity to guess for Rio and Scream 4? Not every film needs to be in the contest. In general, two film weeks are not my preference because there's no bonus; just a small deduction. It seems less interesting to me. I've also encountered this where if I do a two film week, James updates his upcoming review schedule to include two more movies. Like, if I had waited a little longer, it could have been a three film week. Anyway, that probably won't be the case so much in the future with more new releases coming out in a given week. |

Water For Elephants- **1/2 Despite the strong cast (well, Christoph Waltz and Reese Witherspoon at least), this looks too melodramatic to be something that James will laud without reservations and lest we forget, Mr. Sparkly Vampire is still the lead. Fast Five- **1/2 The latest chapter in the Fast and Furious saga; betcha James just can't wait for this one.. actually considering the somewhat decent reviews I've just been reading, he might like it at least as much as the first one. Usually when it takes him this long it's because of that (he delays the review in order to build anticipation for it)... or maybe an unexpected emergency came up with his son? God, I sure hope not!
