So, anyone else watching this? For those not in the know, it's a heist show with liberal sprinklings of comedy airing on TNT, where a bunch of thieves led by an ex-insurance investigator help the helpless against (mostly) corporate criminals.

I'm really liking it, and the first half of the two-part finale that aired this week was magnificent. The cast and the chemistry between them are pretty great, and the cons and jokes come fast enough that you usually don't notice when the plots threaten to turn into swiss cheese until well after the show's over.

I'm watching it at the moment, and I'm really digging it. It's a lot like an updated version of the A-Team or Mission:Impossible, maybe crossed with something like Burn Notice. Since it's episodic, the ridiculous plots don't really bother me - it reminds me of House in that regard. It's all about the characters, and Leverage scores big here.

Despite the fact that the characters are walking cliches, they're so well animated by the cast that they're hugely enjoyable. Gina Bellman steals every scene she's in, but the rest all manage comedy gold as well, without compromising their characters. I think the key to Leverage is the perfect casting - it's my go-to show for when I just want to power down and watch something that's unashamedly feelgood.

When I saw the promos, it looked like another throwaway series, but I have heard good things about it, so I am thinking that I may check it out online sometime.

Yeah, its okay. It's like a mixture of the A-team and Ocean's 11. I just wish the show had a higher production budget because some of the CGI in certain episodes looks like it was done with a nintendo Wii. Also, I wish that in this show, and a lot more movies and TV shows for that matter, would stop with the whole "all it takes is a smart computer hacker, and in 5 minutes with a palm pilot he can bring down/hack/break codes/remote access any system that he wants." When will hollywood figure out that the public is much more acquainted with computers these days and that we are tire of being force fed this bullshit.

I don't think you're going to see that much more money thrown at the show - as far as I understand it, it's made indie-style by Dean Devlin's production company, and basically put together on a shoe string.

The magic photoshop things are annoying, most eregiously was the video editing Hardison pulled in one of the episodes, but usually I can accept it as television magic and move on. And the frequent shoutouts to geeks buy a lot of goodwill.

And her french accent! Mmm. I did find her obsessing so much over Nate a bit annoying though, but I really love where they took her character in the latest episode,

I have watched a couple episodes, mainly as an homage to Timothy Hutton, who is just freakin fantastic. What a talent that guy has.

How many hackers do the average person know? Not many so I can buy hackers hacking into everything with their hacking equipment.

I like this show but it is way too much like the BBC show Hustle which I think is better because of the power struggle between the two main con men

Leverage is my favorite show. I especially like Christian Kane. I downloaded his single after the music episode, and I listen to it on a regular basis now. haha.
