 Re: Week #19: Hijacking Evenflow's job Thanks for covering for me.  Okay guys. The Inception review comes out on Wednesday. The Sorcerer's Apprentice review comes out on Friday. You have until 9:00 AM PST on Wednesday to submit votes. For those who get both right, they will receive a point. For those who get only one right, they will receive a half of a point. I'm not going to make things too different here. For now.

Re: Week #19: Hijacking Evenflow's job These got moved around a little due to my shifting schedule. It now looks like THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE will be late on Wednesday with INCEPTION following shortly thereafter, either late night Wednesday or early Thursday. Then again, there's an outside chance that the INCEPTION review could still come out late Wednesday morning.

Re: Week #19: Hijacking Evenflow's job Yeah as soon as I came out out of Inception a few hours ago, I thought that this might be the case. I have to see it again to be sure of my feeling, but for the first viewing I would give it a 4.0. But still, a weaker 4.0 than Nolan's last movie. It just doesn't overwhelm you with its greatness like The Dark Knight did. Maybe because here, like a puzzle, it goes for the mind and brain instead of The Dark Knight's moral dilemmas and issues.

Re: Week #19: Hijacking Evenflow's job Do you think you may enjoy it more after seeing it twice? When I first saw Memento, I would have given it 3.5 stars; but after seeing it two or three stars, I loved the movie. Conversely, after seeing "The Dark Knight," certain problems with logic emerged, but its greatness overwhelms those problems. I really wanted "Inception" to get the rare Berardinelli ****, especially after Ebert's review went up last night.
