There was an interesting quote in Entertainment Weekly from Kiefer Sutherland about Jack which went along the lines of "At the end of every season, even though he saves the day, Jack Bauer never wins." This goes back to season 1 when he won the day but lost his wife.

Loved the finale. The last 10 episodes of the season have been AMAZING! The best group of episodes in the history of the show IMO. It easily made up for what has been up until hour 15, a somewhat uneven season. But the final 10 episodes are so amazing, they easily make up for the bad episodes. Great season a whole. Emmy worthy work by Kiefer Sutherland, Cherry Jones, Gregory Itzin, Anil Kapoor, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Annie Wersching and the actress who plays Dalia Hassan. Was also very impressed by Freddie Prinze Jr this season. When I heard he was casted on the show, I was very worried. But he's been VERY solid IMO. I really liked his character.

I'm gonna miss this show. The greatest tv show of all time IMO!
