 Re: What's your drink?
I haven't been to an A & W restaurant since I was like 10 so I don't remember if I had it on tap or not. As for the unpleasantness....I don't recall much. I allegedly ruined a show from an improv trope that I'm friends with...thank God, they don't hold it against me. I know I made out with a equally drunken chick even though I only recall three places we were making out at and there was allegedly a lot more places we were making out at. That story didn't end that day though but that's another story. Also either I allegedly wet myself or spill something on my crotch that looks like I wet myself...everyone says it was the former and they're probably right

 Re: What's your drink?
Okay man...2 questions. 1. What was the alcohol involved? and 2. Was she a hottie? And did you hook up? And was it worth it?

 Re: What's your drink?
1. Captain Morgan and Coke....a lot of it. Like nearly a fifth of it. 2. Your mileage may vary, she was a bit thicker than most but she had big boobs. And we kinda did date, sober, and we had two more drunken escapades with the last one involved doing it. I made the wise decision of getting us to my car which was in front of the party house where a bunch of party goers were at. Needless to say, I forgo having good sex to subconsciously impress people that I was having sex........TOTALLY WORTH IT!

 Re: What's your drink?
Arak is one of a group of liquors that are flavored with anise, hence the licorice flavor. It turns white when water is added to it due to the anise oil not being water-soluable; the process is known as "louching". Some other drinks that fall into this category include: Raki - Turkish version of Arak. They're pretty much all made the same way: grape must being distilled, then having anise added to it for the flavor and the louching effect. Absinthe - French invention- the distiguishing feature of this drink is that it has oil from the wormwood plant put into it, giving it its characteristic green (sometimes amber) tint. Pastis - This is basically absinthe without the wormwood. The main reason water is added to some of the anise-based drinks is because they're distilled and very alcoholic. Drinking several bottles of Arak straight is a good way to get blood alcohol poisoning.

 Re: What's your drink?
I'm not much of a drinker. I enjoy the occasional glass of wine (like 4-5 times a year), but that's about it.
My non-alcoholic input is limited to juice (100%), tea (mostly of the herb and fruit variety) and plain old water. Coffee smells great, but my bowels don't abide.
Now I'm actually going to read this thread.

 Re: What's your drink?
You see? I've gone and disappointed Ram. Over here the saying goes "A Beer is a Carib". Now, it's pretty subtle, but what they're saying is that "Carib" is the most popular beer. What people really drink a ton of is Rum. I guess the sugar cane has something to do with it. Puncheon Rum is also popular in rural areas, but that's a home made brew akin to moonshine. This man takes his Norse mythology seriously. I'd like to try some mead too. Preferably from a golden chalice. I cut Coke out of my life a couple years ago. Initially it was the hardest thing I've ever done. Now? It doesn't taste good at all. The "No Soda" diet is actually a pretty good one too. I lost almost 40 pounds over several years just by eliminating a few small things from my diet. I tell you folks...The Sterg is The Man. Most people would be content with 3 places. Hell, even the sickest porn films are. But not The Sterg. He finds orifices all over the place.

 Re: What's your drink?
I dig Mountain Dew Throwback and tea. My drug of choice is marijuana. I'll probably be a wine-drinker when I get older (read: next year).

Yup, milk. The Sam Adams seasonals are great. The regular Boston Lager is my favorite, but I like all the seasonals. Cherry Wheat is pretty good too.

 Re: What's your drink?
I'll take the bait. I doubt his wife's jaw gets too sore. From what I hear the "major" is actually pretty minor, if you know what I mean. *elbows whoever is in close proximity in ribs* ed - wine sucks. I hate wine. I know it's something people can be snobby about and hold in really high regard, but it tastes gross. All of it. I will now end my whine about wine.

 Re: What's your drink?
Stief...do you do that as a meal or as a, like, a drink? I mean, that sounds like a delicious breakfast.

 Re: What's your drink?
It kinda depends on where I'm at in the day, what i've eaten, and how much i've lifted, biked, or ran. For instance, on days when I lift for power, I eat breakfast before the gym and then I'll have a fruit smoothie mixed with protein when I get home. On days when I do cardio, i'll have a smoothie for breakfast. On days when I get hungry late at night, I'll have a smoothie as a snack. My favorite combination is 5 to 10 strawberries (depending on size), a small handful of blueberries, a banana, and ice. Fantastic. Somedays when I'm looking for a touch more flavor, I'll add a natural fruit juice like orange, apple, or pomegranate. If I haven't had enough veggies, i'll add a Naked Green Machine with some strawberries. The main key is to buy a smoothie maker or magic bullet. After that it was easy trying different things out. I'm blessed to live less than a mile from the largest Farmer's Market in the city as well, which helps a ton.

 Re: What's your drink?
It Depends on the time of day. Coffee in the morning, then tea later and maybe a little diet DP later. I might sneek in some water sometime in the day.

 Re: What's your drink?
We did our honeymoon in the South Carribean. Visited Martinique, Barbados, Aruba and a couple of other islands...and hell yeah, they love their rum down there. Not only that...they would always serve us rum punch. Sour, sweet, strong, weak. That's the recipe they told us.

I'm drinking this beer called Simpler Times. I got it at Trader Joe's and it's like 6.2% alcoholic content! WHHOOO! I'm not in the right mindset for message boards.....
