If you do want to present someone from winning two years in a row, maybe you could say the winner this year is eligible to compete next year and have his win total listed accurately on the leader board, but just that if he is the overall winner again next year, the person who finished #2 gets the right to choose the movie Mr. Berardinelli will review. That would allow the contest to proceed as normal, with only the recipient of the prize changing if necessary.

Also, something to keep in mind: if two people finish tied for the lead (in which case Mr. Berardinelli said he would review each of their movies), would both winners be prohibited from competing (or suffer the handicap) next year?
