James, this is one of the smartest, most well worded reviews I have ever read from you. Its dead on accurate and extremely well versed. No typos too :)

The movie is Glory.

Fantastic series, I've enjoyed reading it immensely.

I fear you've already mentioned this, but out of interest, what's the next project?

Which he has quite a few times. While I want nobody to tell you and you to sweat, JB is reviewing the Best Picture winners. All of them, even his hated Terms of Endearment

I'd like to see James extend his Reelthoughts material even further into a book. It would be a memoir of a man who goes from being an engineer - to a weekend moviegoer - to a film writer - to an online critic while the internet was in its infancy - to a successful and respected internet presence. James has written about all of these stages in his life and career before, and if they were all taken together they would make for interesting reading. Especially in the context of the slow death of newspaper film criticism, the rise and vitality of the internet, and the fact that James did this for years on a non-commerical website. Think on it, James.

I've enjoyed reading about this personal experience with movies--it reminds me of my own ever-changing relationship with movies and art in general.

It's also been interesting to learn about the coming-of-age of everyone's favorite internet movie critic.

I think he was referring to the reviews written for the series, not the entire "80s cannon." I haven't considered whether SOPHIE'S CHOICE will be included in the Top 100.
