Welcome to the club, you old bastard. I turned 29 early this year and ever since candy hasn't tasted quite as good, I've had a mad desire to listen to nothing but Air Supply, and I've gained a deep appreciation for Minnie Driver. The last one may be inexplicable.

Three days away from turning 25. I'll tell you, being unemployed and aimless in general gets frowned on a little more with each passing birthday.

34 years old here. A younger guy, 16 or 17, that started working at the shop the other day, started telling me a story about how his dad was a collector and saved all of his older music (originals) and handed it down to him. I was expecting it to be, you know...maybe some late Led Zeppelin albums....some Beatles perhaps and maybe a little ACDC or Black Sabbath. Nope...MC Hammer, Sir Mix-A-Alot, LL Cool J, Kool Moe Dee. LOLOL. The pain....the horror...the pain.

Sir Mix-A-Lot? Classic? He's awesome and all but he's no classic....neither is Kool Moe Dee...arrogant punk.

That part about the candy is just priceless. I was just thinking the other day about how we're all basically just dragging these bodies of ours to the grave. Seems like I can't eat a slice of pizza anymore without having to swallow a handful of Tums afterwards. And if said slice is eaten past 6 O-Clock, then don't plan on sleeping more than 4 hours (in short spurts) that night.

I'm 26 years old. In a few months I'll be 27.
