I have the screener sitting next to me but haven't watched it yet and this is a busy week. So I'll get to it when I have a few hours free. It will arrive some time this week.

Goodbye Solo is the wild card here. James is fairly erratic when it comes to indie movie reviews, and since he never reviewed either of Bahrani's previous pictures I have nothing to base my guess on except for slight optimism and a 94% rating on rotten tomatoes.

This one is hard, even Angels and Demons seems to be far from certain. The book as a book, is worse than The Da Vinci Code, but the added over the top elements (the anti-matter bomb, the helicopter leap, the dumb "the person you thought was good was really evil" plot twist, etc.) could make for a interesting so-bad-it's-good movie, which James on occasion has given 3 stars to. Doubt it though, it looks like it might take itself a little too seriously for that to end up happening.

Angels & Demons, I'm going with slightly lower than the previous entry*. Ebert seems quite fond of Bahrani, but I'm gonna go with slightly less expectations than if Ebert were reviewing it. *Based on new information, I've lowered my estimate significantly

Easy Virtue *** Looks like a rather standard rom-com that will be redeemed by some clever dialogue and nice performances
Angels and Demons *1/2 No explanation needed here based on James' one-word review.
The Good Bye Solo *** Looks like a nice easy-going character study that will feature some strong acting and decent writing but will ultimately be nothing special
Now let's see if this will be my first win since about two weeks ago.
