Post Movie-Related Collections
Does anybody else around here enjoy collecting movie-related items? For example, I collect DVDs and Blu-rays (duh!), as well as movie tickets and posters.

In all honesty, I'm curious to know if anybody else collects movie tickets? I have a fairly large collection, but it can also be a bit of a drag. I just have to have a copy of every ticket, and that kind of discourages theater-hopping.

Post Re: Movie-Related Collections
My sister has a collection of movie tickets, I don't collect them myself. But there have been times when i've found my old ticket stubs in weird places, like one time last year I was reaching underneath my car seat to pick up some loose change, and I found a ticket stub for Date Night, so that was interesting.

I used to collect films(mostly direct to video films that most haven't heard of) but I had so many in my room that I had to give most of them away to clear up some space.

I do keep most of my movie tickets just because. Also, I do the convention circuit and I do have some autographs and pictures with celebrities that I guess I'm collecting.

Still have ticket stubs from 1987. Looks like most movies I saw that year were 4-5 dollars(first run, not discount theaters)

Payed 17.25 for Man of Steel Imax in 2013.

Aside from the DVDs and a few books related to film, not really. Although I was going through a drawer not too long ago and came across a ticket stub for The Departed.

I've had a movie ticket collection since 1998 (I'm 23). The first one in it is Antz. The last one in it is Mud. There are a few interesting things in there, including one for The Apu Trilogy when it played at the Stanford Theatre. That felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

I also have lots of posters in my room.
