Yeah, the "hairdo" is about the same. Ditto for the talent in their respective areas. But what the heck would Robert Duvall do in a white tux conducting an orchestra? Well anyway, I'm glad you got that question answered ;) ;) ;)

Dang. I'd have guessed David Ogden Stiers.

Dude has a conducting baton in his hand and a head of white hair. I'm not sure how he might be mistaken for somebody else... maybe Jerry Goldsmith if you've had too much to drink.

Oh, I've totally seen Major Charles Winchester "conducting" his phongraph symphony. For all I know, DOS was hopping back into character.

And I was just giving 3 perf a bit of a good-humored rub...

If we're now continuing this as the "avatar justification" thread, then I felt a change was needed after nearly 12 months of Bond in the Scottish countryside; and now I have Clive Wynn-Candy in his pre-Blimp days, as a handsome, idealistic dasher of a soldier, about to embark on a duel with a man he would later befriend for life.

Crap. Now I have to change my avatar to something not Superman-related. This has set me to thinking.

Flash fact: Hugh Grant is one of the only people on Earth to be banned from The Daily Show.

If I was being really deep and meaningful about my pic, I could say that the subject in question - namely the fact that he is about to contest someone he would actually befriend - is kind of a positive spin on the nature of web forums.

But Ken wouldn't be Ken without Superman in one guise or another.

My profile pic is a fan art rendering of Arya Stark and her direwolf Nymeria from A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. My previous profile pic was of Ser Jaime Lannister from the same series. If it wasn't obvious from my posts in the Game of Thrones TV series thread, I'm a fan of this series in a fairly large way.

My profile pic is from Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. The MGS games are my favorite video game series of all time, and if you give me a little time to grow out my hair and beard, I can pass for Big Boss or Solid Snake. I would love for someone to adapt them into movies, but really, the games are cinematic enough as it is. They're almost like interactive movies.
