So, we have a Dirty Harry flick, a film with a Pixies song for it's title (in actuality a rom-com with Paul Dano and Zooey Deschanel - potential four star here ), and a franchise reboot in the mix. Do ya feel lucky, punk? You'd better. If you want a chance to make James watch a depressing movie from the 1980's called Grave Of The Fireflies (ahem) then you must earn this privilege.


As for the change in presenters, well, we all know Rob is irreplaceable. But every once in a while, you need a new salsa, or you're stuck eating tortilla chips on their own. And that's nasty. So, as Chris Sarandon so eloquently put it in The Princess Bride, '... will you please consider me an alternative to suicide?'

Sudden Impact - I don't think James is a big Dirty Harry fan. But with nostalgia factor, I predict 2.5 * for this.

Gigantic - quirky rom-com with Paul Dano and Zooey Deschanel? Looks like a 3 * for this. EDIT: I change the prediction to *. James has reviewed this film last year, he just has not assigned a rating yet. Knowing where to look can help you nail this one.

Fast and Furious - the last time Vin Diesel and Paul Walker got together for the first film, James gave it 2.5 *. It was sort of a guilty pleasure. But this film is already 7 years too late. 2* prediction for me.

Gigantic, an assuredly quirky and self-conscious little indie scream, will get those four stars when Berardinelli throws a wrench into this contest by pulling an April Fool's Day joke on everyone here.

But, in all seriousness, he's gonna give Gigantic no stars.
