Ok just got back from seeing this and I had a pretty good time with it, Cavill's not the most expressive actor, but he's still far more talented then say Robert Pattison, so I was mostly compelled by his character. I too was dissapointed by Willis's lack of screentime, but Weaver's performance made up for it, it was funny how she went form professional killer to revenge-crazed madwoman so quickly. The action scenes were fairly well-done, though I would've prefered a little less shaky-cam, the main problem is the storyline, which gets ridiculously convuluted at times, and I had tough time keeping track of what some of the characters motivations were and whatnot.

Oh and the movie title makes no sense whatsoever, "Cold Light Of Day" sounds more like the name of a pretentious foreign "art" film.

Oddly, the second actor I thought of was Pattinson. (The first was the guy in I am Number Four.) As in, "How is Robert Pattinson not in this picture?"

Several years ago, Pattinson was once attached to a project with a similar sounding premise called "Cancun", but it got cancelled for whatever reason. I'm wondering if this is the same script slightly rewritten with a different title.

At least you can take solace in the fact that this wasn't the worst movie you saw this year... or even this month!

The hits keep coming...

At least none of the five movies I saw this week were downright *bad.*
