My verdict on the film, is it as good as the original? No, is it an entertaining sci-fi action film, hell yes! I was captivated the whole way through with the "is it real or not"? hook, Farrel is for the most part impressive, (though he does occasionally mumble his lines which it makes difficult to understand what he's saying) Beckinsale is no Sharon Stone, but she's damn good in own right, she plays the evil ice cold bitch well, Biel does what she can, though her character is the least developed. The CGI is in a word, breathtaking, and Wiseman superbly directs the action, with the rooftop chase and the elavator sequence being the highlights. I'll admit things did get a little confusing at the end and there was perhaps one twist too many, but otherwise it was a very enjoyable film.

Hypothetically, I buy the best sports car in the world. Somebody I don't even know asks to drive it. I say no.
