I feel Sacha Baron Cohen can be wildly hit and miss, often in the same movie, so that seems like a good choice for the gamble this week. I'm not sure when Hick is going to be reviewed and I didn't feel like having two bonuses, so that's why they're only worth half a point each.

Battleship: ** An big-budget summer blockbuster based on a board game; the stench of Limburger is already thick in the air

The Intouchables: *** Looks like a nice low-key French drama, usually those are safe in James' book

Men In Black III: **1/2 A long-overdue second sequel; at least, this one has the charms of Will Smith and while that may not completely save the film, it should elevate it to a level where it's at least watchable

The Dictator (2): *** The previous two Sacha Baron Cohen vehicles that were brought to the screen did just fine so why should anyone expect differently of this one?

Hysteria: *** I would like to think that since this is a British dramatic comedy, that automatically means it's safe but I took that approach with Marigold Hotel and look where it got me; still, I think I'm gonna take that risk again

Hick: ** So far, this sits at 0% on the RT meter but it has Blake Lively (who can do more than skate by on her looks when she sets her mind to it) and Chloe Moretz so it can't be completely awful, right?

Here's to hoping that I score some redemption after totally whiffing it during the last round...

So what movie are you going to have James review, peng?

Shit, looks like everyone is taking a hit on The Dictator unless they were smart enough not to gamble this time!

Pedro and ram1312, I'm going to be a (Buddhist) monk for about a month starting from this 25th, so that is a lot of time for everyone to catch up then

I don't know.. the one movie I want to be reviewed the most is a Japanese movie called Be With You, which I consider to be one of the best romantic dramas I've seen (alongside ones such as Before Sunrise/Before Sunset, although they're completely different). But the amazon link of it is kind of vague about its availability. I don't have access to Netflix so I don't know if they have that in there (can anyone check for me?). If no maybe a Thai horror Ladda Land, one of my favorite horrors after I saw it last year. Its availability in amazon is better than Be with You, though not by much. I also have no idea about it in Netflix.

If not those two, I haven't thought much about other options. Only Path of Glory or Billy Wilder's Ace in the Hole come to mind.
