Yeah, they're stretching to criticize Jasmine -- furthering my point that Jasmine is the best Disney princess. The message of that movie is stated multiple times: a woman should be "free to make her own choices."

I'm laughing so hard reading this; but it's so true when you think about!

Half of them can be rationalized as being in stories that were told in a simpler time.

The other half would seem to indicate that we're not so removed from that simpler time as we'd like to think.

The only one that ISN'T a stretch is the Little Mermaid one!
