Real Steel is a bonus because James could review as early as tomorrow. As usual, I will try to update the leaderboard in the next few days.

Footloose is the wild card IMO. I think it could end up being a pleasant surprise. But I don't know. I'm gonna play it safe for now and go with 2 stars.

Another tough week. Whew! Oh well, time to man up and face it:

Footloose: *** Not sure where to go with this; it's getting decent reviews so far and it was directed by Craig Brewer who hasn't had a dud yet but it's still a remake of a film that James probably wasn't too fond of to begin with (makes me wonder if he plans to review the original like he did with Tron last year)

The Thing: **1/2 The second remake he has to see this week; oh boy. And this is a remake of a film that we know he likes so he's probably gonna have expectations for this one that won't be fully met

Trespass: *1/2 Well, James tweet pretty much gives the impression that this is gonna be shit!

Real Steel: **1/2 Not sure about this one; it's been getting mixed reviews so that's probably what it'll get from James

FOOTLOOSE - 2.5
THE THING - 2.5
TRESPASS - 2.0

BONUS: REAL STEEL - 2.5

I believe I see a pattern in my predictions: not a great week once again.

JB dosen't really hate Schumacher, in fact most of his films got at least a 2.5 from JB, and he was even nicer to Batman And Robin then most critics were, so I think Trespass could at least get a 2.5

Sheesh. Looks like a tough week for new releases.

FOOTLOOSE - 2.0
THE THING - 2.5
TRESPASS - 1.5

BONUS: REAL STEEL - 2.5

EDIT: Since edits are now allowed I decided to remove a star from Trespass. Question: can mods actually see what I edited? Can't I just change Real Steel to 3 stars and pretend I always had it that way?

He gave The Number 23 2 stars.

There is no way this gets more than 2 stars. It looks incredibly generic and mediocre and based off the reviews it got at TIFF that's exactly what the movie is.

I like Joel Schumacher. I think he gets unfair flack because of Batman & Robin, which WAS a really bad movie. But he's made many good to great movies to. But this does not look very good at all. It doesn't look as bad as Batman & Robin but it looks worse than or at least on the same level as The Number 23. Although I thought The Number 23 started off intriguingly but got really dumb in the second half.

I said most of his films, not all, and trailers can often be very misleading, so I wouldn't be so quick to judge based on one.

I'm just judging by the trailers. But the reviews too. And besides, usually if a movie looks generic from the trailer, it usually is. I mean, come on. I expect this from Cage since he's made a lot of grab the cash and run movies lately, but really I expected more from Nicole Kidman. Can't believe she's in this. Maybe she was tired of being in movies that nobody watches and thought this might be one that people would go see. Unfortunately, I doubt that'll be the case.

Well considering that Kidman was in that Stepford Wives remake, I'm not at all shocked that she's in this film.

Is it too late to edit our guesses? I don't know how the rules work in that. Wouldn't want to be disqualified. But I'm regretting my 2 star guess for Footloose after some reviews. It's actually getting good reviews surprisingly.

Well, based on James' most recent Tweet, I definitely overshot the rating for Trespass.

Gray area since the first movie reviewed was a bonus. In cases of a bonus being the first film reviewed, I'll allow an edit.
