 Re: KILLER ELITE
Funny, Ebert said this film actually focused more on character development than action, either way i'm definitely seeing it tomorrow.

 Re: KILLER ELITE
Agreed - nothing wrong with it. It's just that Owen and De Niro don't add much. The roles could have been played by Actor A and Actor B and the film would have been just as good, provided neither Actor A nor Actor B has appeared in TWILIGHT.

 Re: KILLER ELITE
I rarely go into a movie with an expectation, so rarely am I disappointed, but this time, I really expected more out of Statham, Owen, and DeNiro. Check my full review: http://bit.ly/pH6kAl

 Re: KILLER ELITE
Sounds like a not too subtle hint about the quality, or lack thereof, of Abduction.

 Re: KILLER ELITE
Is this movie worth a $5 ticket? (Judging from some of the posts it sounds like it!)

 Re: KILLER ELITE
Yeah, it's a pretty good film, it has more character development then you'd expect from this type of film, there's no real clear cut "good" or "bad" guys, every character has their own somewhat justifiable motives for doing what they do, and first-time director Gary McKendry does a pretty good job with the action scenes(though he does overuse the shaky-cam, which sorta distracts form the otherwise awesome fight scene between Owen and Statham) though the plot gets a tad convoluted in the third act, otherwise i'd say it's definitely worth $5, hell I paid 10 bucks and I came out feeling satisfied.

 Re: KILLER ELITE
I can't recall the last time a trailer misrepresented a movie as much as the trailer for this movie. Clive Owen isn't the bad guy and he's not even the one who kidnaps Robert De Niro's character! I thought the movie was pretty badass but I wish it had a more satisfying ending.
