I'm surprised that more people didn't submit this answer. For some strange reason I distinctly recall Rob saying that he fast forwarded through most of Mutant Chronicles.

On my last viewing of 2001 I skipped the "light show" towards the end; in my defense it was late and I had already seen it a number of years ago....and I wasn't high.

I found it painful to watch this movie without FF'ing. Seeing an astronaut 'pffft' his way across the screen for several minutes wasn't even appealing the first time I saw it. Some things I don't care to view in real-time equivalents.

My girlfriend--the same one who's too ADD to tolerate opening credits--loved every second of 2001 when I took her with me for my first theatrical screening of it.
