I was only 9 for 24. Probably my worst year since I started doing predictions in 2002. But I did get animated short!

I'll be disappointed if the Oscar pool winner picks a dvd instead of a review for James. Which I think will happen since it looks like it was someone who just joined the board for the contest.

Yeah, dude, if I won this, I would totally pick a movie to review, that way everyone in the forum benefits from it.

We'll see what he chooses. If he asks for a DVD, I'll let the board know that he has asked for a DVD. If he asks for a review (but doesn't post anything to the forums to that effect), I'll reveal the title here.

Or smart. Why the hell did the rest of us do it so early? I mean honestly, I picked The Artist for original screenplay. There isn't any dialogue. How stupid was that. Of course Woody Allen was going to win that. If I had waited till yesterday, it wouldn't even be fair how many I would get right.

Could be the same person submitting multiple entries.

James could probably see that though in their IP address.

Suddenly really glad I didn't win (10 correct! Hugo for Picture and Director! Woo!) since I had the DVD picked out and everything. Then again, my review request probably would have been Akeelah and the Bee. So maybe I would have been in trouble either way.

I don't really see anything strange about it. Every forum has more lurkers than posters. Some of the lurkers saw a cool contest and un-lurked. Time will tell if a few stick around. I certainly hope so.

And the email address is tied to an account. If a person was actually desperate enough to create multiple email addresses and then use each of those addresses to make a Reelviews account I say give it to them anyway. Wouldn't want to piss off a person with so much time on their hands.

Didn't matter when you initially entered your ballot. You could go back and edit it up until noon on Sunday. A few people did that.

He picked a DVD. I don't feel at liberty to reveal the title, but he shows good taste.

I wish there were more competitions that offered a review. That 'think you know james' one is incredibly hard to win, esp if you don't play it from the beginning of the year.

It is a very unique prize, wonder if any other critic has tried that.
