 Poll #1: The Gender Poll The Gender Poll
Various analyses of ReelViews has indicated that readership of the website skews "slightly male," with a breakdown anywhere between 55/45 M/F to 60/40 M/F, depending on who is doing the analysis. My gut feeling tells me that forum membership (and especially participation) is even more heavily skewed male. So I'd like to start out this new section with a simple, anonymous gender questions: Male or Female? (In the interests of keeping things sane, I am not offering a "None of the Above" option.) Comments are welcome.

Re: Weekly Poll (March 15-21) One thing which bugs me about some forums (not seen it here much) is someone who chooses a female avatar (real or stylized), and you assume they are female. Often it will turn out to be their girlfriend or something.
