Seriously though, you look so normal and well-adjusted. Like you're not a subterranean dweller who furtively masturbates when his parents leave and spends the rest of his time switching between Reelviews and fanfiction.

Wait, I thought that was me?

Chocolate Diver! Pronounced "d-I-vuh!"

This is becoming quite a tussle (Google it) to decide between... oh I can't say. Its becoming increasingly tempting to just say "Screw the riff-raff!" I'm quite touched to be included though   :)

This thread is all kinds of win. Or was all kinds of win. Either way, it win. That's good grammar, right?

Anywho, that's the third (or so) photo major has posted here and he looks different every single time. Weird, huh?

Ontopic: The forum seems to be going through one of its regular quiet periods. I'm always concerned that we're not going to make it through one of these. My suggestion? Streamline. Scrap the "Polls" section entirely. A mod can always turn threads into polls when relevant. See: the Gay Marriage thread. That would benefit from a poll, no? Also, I'd scrap "Lists" too. That subforum is deader than a dead dog. No reason why we can't have lists in the General forum. Imho it'd make that forum more active.

So, that was my 2 cents. As for my vote? How could I leave my buddy Pete without a vote? He sends me nice PMs about Billy Wilder. And about my penis. Strange guy that Pete.

Glancing at that picture again with fresher eyes, I am vaguely reminded of a young Bryan Cranston. Therefore, it is logical to assume majoraphasia is in a meth lab and is thus either a professional meth cooker or a low-key mob boss. Both answers would explain why he manages to look normal and well-adjusted while at the same time frequently going on the internet and posting weirdly sexual rants about movies.

That's how I keep up with my audience at Reelviews Forum. Since everyone here is about a decade younger than me I have to use modified language.

Imagine if they were mainly less than half your age?

You're opinion is wrong on that front Ed. The idea to separate Lists from the Sub-forum was to promote REAL discussion in the General movie forum. Lists are fun, but it needs its own place.

But at least you're not insulting or guilt-tripping people for their lack of posts this time Ed. Otherwise I might have to take a trip to your neck of the woods and beat the ugly out of you...and you are one really ugly mother.

Yeah, I recently returned to the forum and one of the things missing here is discussion on movies. It seems that posts are down, discussions are mainly political and discussions on movies seem to be the domain of about 7 people.

I am opinion? The Super Sexy Sterg talks funny.

...and FWIW, I can't recall insulting anyone for their lack of posts. If I did, I'm sorries. The guilt trip thing was a one time effort that I hoped would jump start things. It didn't and I moved on.

Post Re: Poll #64: My Sucessor
Confession: I actually just made this post because I wanted to have my name as the last post in every "Miscellaneous" sub-forum before I go to bed. Don't tell.

Non-confession: Rob is right in that moving lists to its own area does not seem to have upped real discussion very much at all (remember those "Favorite film by" topics? Fun, but not very much discussion.), and has instead ghettoized the lists so that instead of having one forum without much discussion we now have two. I, sort of agreeing with Ed, say we should integrate Lists back into General Movie Discussion and make The Polling Station an individual (but stickied) thread in General Movie Discussion. That way both areas will receive at least a little more attention and will thus be more likely to spark some real discussion.

Me? I'll try to keep doing my part, but I find it hard to gather up the motivation to post here, unless of course I'm writing 12,890 character long defenses of In the Realm of the Senses. As anyone else noticed that every other post of mine is incredibly long? That's weird.
