Nothing fancy, just wanted to know how you people joined this board.

As for me, I came during beta-testing and never went away.

I've been a fan of Berardinelli's work for years, so I jumped at the opportunity when the board was added to the site.

Well I mainly joined the board cause I wanted to prsent a different POV then most everyone else on here, as there's few people who will admit to not liking all those so-called "classic" films. I know many people will find it hard to believe that I find so many films overrated, but that's the honest truth and I don't consider it a bad thing at all.

Beta-tester!

Since there's no option for joined during "alpha-testing", I guess I'm in the same boat as Ken.

I've been coming to the site since pre-Reelthoughts days so I was naturally interested when the forums were announced. Beta testing didn't sound like my thing though, so I joined as soon as the boards were open to the public.

Suppose this falls under the "Other" option, but "I don't join message boards, message boards join me" just sounded too interesting.

It was a quiet day in middle of February. I remember it very fondly... yes, very fondly indeed.

I woke up after about 6-8 hours of sleep, went to work and eventually came home. I checked email and the news and looked at Reelviews, a site I visited about once a week. I learned of the new forum and thought to myself "Have I finally found a place to argue about the finer points of Michael Bay's oeuvre?" As per usual, I looked at pornography for the required 4.3 hours and then started typing radical pronouncements at strangers. The rest, as they say, is boring. It's all boring, really.

Oh. Right. I voted for "stumbled upon it".
