Welcome, devotees, to the latest weekly installment of the ReelViews competitions thread! Last week we had a few winners. Maybe this week we can cut that number back a bit I mean, good luck, everybody! This week, we have a Terminator sequel with 'Nuts'man Christian Bale and McG teaming up for some sci-fi mayhem, Michael J. Fox saving Christopher Lloyd's life (and movie career), and a sequel to a high grossing 2006 flick about Ben Stiller proving that he's cool to his son (that's all it was!). May James' movie taste shine bright in your eyes as you venture forth into the great unknown. Good luck.

I was thinking a star and a half for NATM2 since the trailer makes it look even dumber than the first one, but then I remembered that James usually gives cookie-cutter sequels the same rating as the first because they're essentially the same movie.

Terminator Salvation: *** Easily looks like the weakest of the series but might still be worth seeing if only marginally so. Undoubtedly will offers some decent action and a solid Christian Bale performance at the least...although the PG-13 rating can't help things too much.

Back to the Future: ***1/2 A classic for which James has expressed his appreciation on at least a couple of occasions

Night at the Museum 2: ** He'll probably feel exactly the same way on this one as he did for the first one

Christ. There should be a new contest thread to see who can write the most purple prose in the least amount of words. Even when it's meant as a joke it still ranks as a diabetes threat.

Good selection of films to rate. Back to the Future is a slam dunk 4 star film in my book but JB will find some reason to give it 3 1/2. Anything less would be uncivilized. Terminator: Salvation has me curious. This could be one of those hit or miss films.

My gut feeling for Terminator is ***, but that seems to be the consensus so I'll up the ante a bit.

Edit: Seems alot of us are thinking along these exact lines, so I'm feeling good about my choices.

When did Back To The Future become a guaranteed 3 1/2 star flick? That's interesting, but I guess it makes sense...

I'd like to be a bit different from the majority of others' predictions, but my genuine gut feeling about all three films is on the exact same lines it seems.
