Bloodsport
Twister

I'm a sucker for crappy sci fi, like, Apex, Robot Jox, Trancers, Leviathan, Millenium, Timecop, Nightflyers, Equilibrium, Steel Dawn, Critters, Death Race, Black Hole, Flash Gordon, They Live, Event Horizon, Dark Star....I'll watch anything.

Apart from Battlefield Earth. Thats indefensible.

Disagree with these three.

Event Horizon is a guilty pleasure for me too. It's a rip-off of Solaris, sure, but it's still entertaining.
I would never call They Live crappy though. That is brilliant satire.

I just recently watched the 2008 version of Death Race, guilty pleasure for sure but I wouldn't say I loved it like the title of the thread says. Ian McShane talking directly to the audience...check, movie that borrows from Mad Max 2, Running Man and even the Mario Kart series....check.

Really anything with Jason Statham. Death Race. Transporter 1-3. Lock Stock. Good stuff.

I think Last Action Hero is quite funny and kind of clever. Is something wrong with me?

Seeya,
nuxx.

No, nothing wrong with you and you're not the only one.

I mean, what could go wrong with the apperance of Sharon Stone (reprising her role in Basic Instinct) and Robert Patrick (as T-1000) and Sylvester Stallone replacing Arnold in T2?

agree with Event Horizon and Leviathan.
'Tremors' is my favorite, Kevin Bacon was great on this one

Starship Troopers is the best Guilty Pleasure movie of all time. I mean it's got NPH in it for Christ's sake. I watch it several times a year and it still gets the blood flowing. It has everything a guilty pleasure movie should have;

Guns
Explosives
Terrible Acting
A Mixed Gendered Shower Scene
Football - or some variant of
Love Story
Space Flight
and Michael Ironside

Con Air
The Rock

And I'm not a Nic Cage fan. It makes sense, I know.

Basically any movie that satisfies the 17 year old in me (that was looong ago).
It is embarrassing but I actually enjoyed bad movies like:
Gone in 60 Seconds,
The Fast and The Furious ( parts 2 and 3 don't do anything for me)
Torque,
Transporter 2 (didn't liike 1 and 3 though),
Fixing the Shadow (Charlie Sheen, Michael Madsen) - not sure if this was straight to vid though,

I'm right with you therer on these both. Con air is extremely bad and its portrayal of the white trash we should be rootin' for is heavy-handed - yet it kind of works.

The Rock
Dragonball Evolution (just seen it)
Super Mario Bros (I don't even believe it)
Speed Racer

...and probably many more.

I never thought The Rock was a crappy movie. It's probably up there with Speed and Die Hard With a Vengeance as my favorite action movies of the 90's. I wonder how many people, even those who like it, brush it off as a crappy movie because it was director by Mr. Bay?

Knock Off:Yeah James might hate it with a passion, but I found it to be pretty damn entertaining. Despite how incredibly ridiculous the whole plot is, there's so much action that you barely even have time to think about it. The human rickshaw race with Schneider and Van Damme pretty much indicates how crazy the film is, it may be trash but it's entertaining trash, which is more then I can say for overrated garbage like Titanic.

Con Air - for me too, Especially Nic Cage's ''Put the bunny back in the box" & other priceless dialogue like "And if you say a word about this over the radio, the next wings you see will belong to the flies buzzing over your rotting corpse"
