What about Morgan Freeman in Deep Impact?

Thank you!! That's my number one pick. Freeman is so damn likable, I'd vote for him if given the chance.

He was also damn good as Nelson Mandela in Invictus (and really, who else could have played him?). So much, in fact, that whenever Mandela gets mentioned on TV, I half expect to see Freeman in his place.

American Dad actually had a joke about that, where Stan mistakes Nelson Mandala for Freeman while intoxicated, and what makes it even more hilarious is that the episode in question aired several months before Invictus went to theaters!

That's my vote too! And The Contender was a great movie! Great acting everywhere, with my favorite being Sam Elliott's, who plays the chief of staff.

You should! Not only is it a great movie (that gets a little heavy handed in the end, unfortunately), but Jeff Bridges makes a GREAT President. There's a President who loves his job. But mostly because Gary Oldman puts in one of my favorite performances of all time. It's a crime that he wasn't even nominated for an Oscar.

"Ronald Reagan?!? The actor?!? Then who's vice president, Jerry Lewis?!?" :D

I like E.G. Marshall's president from Superman II.

And I couldn't agree more.

Also really like Jeff Bridges in The Contender.

Post Re: The Most Memorable 'President's
Here is my humble list (of the ones I have actualluy seen; so many remain....)

The Numbers do not represent my evaluation.

A) fictional Presidents:

1) Morgand Freeman in "Deep Impact (not only the first African-American US President, but also a very competent one.
2) E.G.- Marshall in "Superman II" (It's E.G. fucking Marshall?, Can't go wrong!)
3) Bill Pullman in "Independene Day" - nice speech!
4) Harrison Ford in "Air Force One" - it's the tired old "Frantic" formula all over again: his character acts our of dispair.
5) Danny Glover in "2012" well he is basically his usual self.
6) Lloyd Bridges in "Hot Shots, Part Deux" - just pure fun.

B) real Presidents:

(funny I haven't seen too many of these:
1) John Voigt in "Pearl Harbour" - Nah! Like the entire flick.
2) Henry Fonda in "Young Mr Lincoln" -Nailed it! even though I haven' seen he entire movie)

Sorry, but the tv series arent't beig shown all here in Europe (depending on country). I wuld have loved to see David Morse as George Washington....
