Questions about an attempt to be helpful with regards to ads
(Sorry if this is a bit long but I have 2 related things that I lumped together and
very much like to understand this and provide a bit of - I hope - helpful feedback.)
Firstly: Whenever I am to buy something online like a book or movie I usually
try to navigate to the sellers page by way of a banner ad on a page I enjoy reading.
(I have done so several times for Reelviews.)
I then purchase what I want in the hope this will generate some cash influx to
the site in question. First thing I'd like to know: Is this appreciated and at all
helpful or does it break some kind of ad click agreement?
My second question: Is there some way of switching out the current ads for others?
The ads that appear are no longer very helpful to me for the above approach.
They appear to mostly consist of offers for Russian mail order brides and medical
supplies of dubious origin and legal status.
In the past I could often find ads from local stores which sell things I might actually
want. Now this is a less viable option as a putting in an order for a mail order bride
is a somewhat more impacting decision than which store I will buy buy the Avengers Blu
