James is there any plan to move some of the really old content over to the new site? Specifically, I remember you conducted one or two interviews but stopped shortly thereafter because you felt interviewing someone might influence your reviews. There there were some special Commentary posts which I suppose were somewhat similar to Reelthoughts. Any plans to dust these things off? If not, are they still accessible anywhere? It might be fun to check these out after all those years.

Eventually, I plan to move everything over, but the priority is to shift all the old reviews. (I'm at about 50% now and proceeding, albeit slowly - new content has priority.)

You can still access the entirety of the old site at http://www.reelviews.net/archives.html. This is a frozen picture of the site as it was on May 31, 2008, when I migrated to the database format. There may be some broken links but I think most things are still functional. This page will remain active until about 95% of the content has been ported over, then I will disconnect it and delete all the html-only files.

Sweet. A 1998 Reelviews interview with Darren Aronofsky is just the kind of thing I was looking for.

Thanks for the link.
