That's a bit harsh on Reiner. He had at least one more film which I enjoyed immensly - the American President. Granted, the best thing about that film was Aaron Sorkin's script. It was his dress rehearsal for the West Wing (including many members of the cast).

I dunno, I'd have to agree with James that Reiner was possibly abducted by aliens and replaced with a duplicate in '93...

One of my favorite lines from The Sure Thing is, "Spontaneity has its time and its place". I use it to describe some of the utterly humorless people I work with.

Havent seen this flick in years. I remember loving it back in the mid 80's when it used to play on cable everyday.
Its too bad Cusack never became a bigger star. His comic timing was really, really good in all those 80's comedies. He was legendary in Say Anything.
