That isn't Miss Sunshine Cleaning! And this doesn't look like my type of movie but then I read Emily Blunt's in it....now I have a little interest.

I'm still slightly interested in seeing this, but I am curious on whether you've see Colour Me Kubrick and which performance from Malkovich you liked better.

High Def Movies had a nice premiere last month with Two Lovers. With The Great Buck Howard they've gotten their mediocre-to-below average entry out of the way. Here's hoping April's selection will be Oscar gold.

It's light fare that features a central relationship that meant nothing to me but should to someone; if Buck and Troy's time together even registers as a little bit endearing to you then the end scenes will be wonderful. It was hard to shake the feeling that Troy was anything more than a blip to Buck. Buck doesn't notice Troy, the audience doesn't find anything to cheer for in Troy... why was the film produced? Why did this story have to be told at all?

Skip it.

I'm confused...I watched this on TV last night...was this movie in theaters? I actually liked it too. Not super memorable, but enjoyable to watch. Definitely worth watching for free on TV lol. I wouldn't have been upset if I had paid to see it in the theater or rented it though...

Mark Cuban owns Magnolia distributors, Landmark theaters, and HDnet TV. He premieres things on HDnet (which is then made available as a pay option across most cable networks) around the same time he opens them via Magnolia in Landmark theaters.
