Pretty much the resounding view held by most people I've spoken to about this movie.

Hold on, isn't Harold (John Cho) the same character in this and H&K? Something I heard once...

Well I"m looking forward to this movie. I've liked all of the previous movies, er, I mean the ones that were theatrically released. The Striaght to DVD sequels don't count. I'm a very nolstagic guy so I think this movie will touch me and make me laugh for that reason alone.

That's generally what most positive reviews say, i'm guessing this film will be more enjoyable for those who saw the first film back in high school(which i'm guessing is partly why James didn't think much of it) As for me, i'll be honest, I haven't seen any of the films yet, but i'm planning on renting them from my local library next week, and i'll probably catch this one once the unrated version arrives on DVD.

Don't think so. His character is gay in AMERICAN REUNION.

Nah, I saw the first one in high school and loved it. Doesn't mean I want to watch this. The trailers look lifeless, like everyone just showed up for a paycheck.

I disagree with you. This series should have been retired after American Pie 2, which is a better film than the original, because of the whole plot about the band geek training our protagonist in the ways of love--a case of the blind being lead by the one-eyed woman with a severe case of astigmatism. Too bad they turned her into a one-dimensional caricature in the terrible American Wedding.

Oh okay... ironic since he also invented the MILF thing :P or at least he mentioned it in American Pie, causing everyone under 20 to start parroting it for the next decade!

I'll probably see this when it comes on Netflix because I adored Alyson Hannigan when she was on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Other than that, meh.

Im glad im not the only one who likes the second one. I think it made a great follow upand could easily have been a good way to end the story. The idea of a reunion does seem a tad inappropriate for such low brow antics!
