Wow, I expected this one to be more of a dark comedy that a raunchy one. Not that one is necessarily better than the other; I'm was basing my assumption largely on the previous output of director Miguel Arteta. At any rate, I'll certainly be on the lookout for this one!

I'm probably going to make a trip to the theater to see this one since I used to live in Cedar Rapids. Probably not the best reason to see a movie, but I'm interested in seeing my old home....

Quite tempted by this based on the premise surrounding the 'older nerd' type.

However, am I the only one who prefers Reilly when is isn't forced into comedy roles? He does a lot better as a straight actor (Magnolia anybody?)

He's better at drama. When he appears in a comedy, he almost always seems to be skating through the role, although he does better in something like this, which has a legitimate dramatic edge, than in some of his other "comedies."

Step Brothers is the one that instantly sprung to mind! That this movie doesn't contain Will Ferrell makes me want to see it all the more.

James has pegged this one perfectly. It's an enjoyable little movie from which you exit with a satisfied smile.
