This review perfectly sums up my own feelings on the film. Anyone interested in an in-depth interpretation of the film can go here:

Don't worry: the language of the piece is not so obscure that you won't be able to understand it, unlike just about any analysis of Godard.

I skipped the review to avoid potential spoilers, but the consensus on this one seems to be that's it's pretty much a masterpiece. Or at least close.

It's safe to say that this will never open theatrically over here, but I had a look-see and noted that this is currently available via, um, "alternative" sources. Hope to report back soon.

This is available through IFC On Demand with select cable providers. Since I'm not seeing when it will be coming to theaters in AZ, I'll probably be going with the home viewing option.

I didn't read the review yet, but it definitely seems like one that deserves checking out.

I can now see why it to you so long to write the review. This looks like the sort of film that requires an emotional and more so intellectual commitment and probably plenty of mulling-over post viewing. I can see that it's available through one of those "alternate sources" that end was hinting so I'll probably check it out sometime soon.

I love ambiguity in my movies, and this movie is just delicious in that regard. I actually saw this at the AFI's European Union Film Festival last autumn, and I thought it was supremely well acted and directed and one of the better movies of the past year. Best performance by Juliette Binoche since Blue? The only other Kiarostami movie I've seen is Taste of Cherry, which I also adored, so I clearly need to seek out more of his work.
