Post Switch with one movie character
So, how about this...

You can become one on screen character and live the character arc they live on screen. You know the surroundings, the other characters, the conflict, the resolution...

Who do you become and why?

Ferris Bueller. Always want to live in a John Hughes world and this one where he goes surreal is deliriously delightful and awesome.

Ashton Kutcher in "No Strings Attached"

God the thought is making me all warm and flushed. Thank you for this thread. Be back in 3 minutes.

A very hard question as I wouldn't want the drama associated with most movie character's arc. Perhaps Kevin Costner's character in Field of Dreams since I love much about baseball.

My true hero is King Julian in the Madagascar movies, but I doubt you had animated characters in mind for this exercise. He has a good time and is clever enough to plan for contingencies when needed. If nothing else works, good luck seems to always fall with him. I have great appreciation for every about him except his self adoration.

I'd say Crash Davis from Bull Durham.

When you say movie character, did you actually mean a character who originated on film, or simply wound up in one?

Because I would have to go with Spock.

You want to die by radiation poisoning? I mean, sure you're brought back, but you still die and probably painfully.

Or are you talking about Zachary Quinto's version of Spock?

You know being Bond sounds cool on paper, but with the good (kicking ass, cool gadgets, cars and getting laid a lot) you'd also would have to take the bad (losing loved ones, getting beat the crap out of sometimes, being tortured including that painful torture where the hit your balls in Casino Royale! ).

Han Solo. Tell me you wouldn't want to fly the fastest ship in the galaxy, appreciate, but not get sucked to far into religion, with a Wookie riding shot gun? Being a scoundrel to a princess that was falling for you would be the cherry on top. It's all about the Wookie with Han though. I'm sure most of us have close friends and pets, but having a Wookie would be heaven. He would never talk behind your back, has your back and can feed himself.

I'd go with that Asian guy from "The Lover", because my "arc" would consist of going from one sex romp to the next with Jane March. Yep, up and down, up and down, up and down...

Eh. Well, at least it wouldn't be the TV version where he gets his brain stolen.
