Apparently James isn't seeing this movie... well, it's been released a week early in some markets, including Peru, so I saw it yesterday, and it was pretty great. It wasn't Lego Movie-great, but the script was funny and witty enough for people of all ages to enjoy the movie. The story is conventional - and a little convoluted -, but the movie works thanks to the charm of its characters, the endless puns - of which I'm always a fan - and the jokes. Oh yeah, and it gets quite emotional at moments too-- the relationship between the two title characters is very important to the movie, and it works. So yeah--my girlfriend and I kinda loved the movie. Definitely better than expected!

It looks cute and I'm always a sucker for a movie about time travel. I definitely want to see it. I haven't seen The Lego Movie yet. I'm thinking about doing a double bill animation and seeing those two movies back to back.

It's getting good reviews thus far. It currently has a 92% at rottentomatoes.
