2014 for me is going to be a sci-fi year.

Please offer me your recommendations.

I would recommend the Gary Sinise film "Imposter"

You might've already seen it, and it isn't exactly underrated, but Gattaca is one of my favorite science-fiction films of all time. It always surprised me that a director who brought so much content and depth to this film then went on to make the generic In Time.

*Sigh* I know, right? He did write The Truman Show too though, and that's a masterpiece.

Well I'm not sure what you have and haven't seen, but when someone asks for sci-fi recommendations, I would be remiss if I didn't throw out....

Dark motherfuckin' City :D

Personally I really dug In Time, it's no Truman Show but it's still pretty good, so I would personally recommend that one.

Event Horizon is a pretty good blend of sci-fi and horror.
