Hey dudes, dudes, dudes. New trailer is out. I'm gonna go ahead and put it behind a spoiler tag so some bros don't get mad, k? ;)

[Reveal] Spoiler:
Christopher Nolan's Interstellar. Doesn't reveal much, but hey, do they really need to? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WzHXI5H ... ata_player

Oh yeah saw that in theater yesterday. "A year from now" makes me laugh. Many stuff remind me of Contact, even before Matthew McConaughey shows up.

'The Raid 2' is 148 minutes, 47 minutes longer than its predecessor.

Man, I dunno..

Trailers don't make me mad. Unwarranted hype does. This looks intriguing. New cinematographer already looks like an improvement just from three shots :? Definitely not getting a cynical vibe from this teaser as I have from all Nolan's previous work. Hmm...might be alright.

Is this music a sample of Zimmer's actual score for the movie?

Sarah Connor in the 2015 Terminator movie is going to be played by Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke.

Really love this casting, even though she has not the physicality for it (yet). But the ferocity and strength of her TV character are a perfect match; she should be phenomenal in the part.

The Sarah Connor from Terminator 1 is VERY different from T2. In the first one she's an average looking young woman. It's not until the sequel until she's all buffed up.

Or are you saying she's the wrong physicality because she looks too buffed up? I'm not sure since I have never seen Game of Thrones.

I feel she is a bit "soft" physicality-wise, even than Connor from T1.

I was about your age when I first saw MEMENTO in theaters. My mom and I went to downtown DC, and we were talking about it for a good hour after the movie ended. That's when I first became aware of who Nolan is, and it's still his best movie IMHO. So I was excited when I learned he'd be the man behind the eventual Batman reboot. The rest is history. :D

I credit Nolan's Batman trilogy, which I first watched last summer when Rises came out, for getting me really interested in cinema. I absolutely love the man.

Wow, the 1st one made enough money to warrant a sequel? I can't even remember it although I did see it, which is usually not a good sign.

They'd rather make a sequel that can barely better than break even than take a chance on an untested writer/idea/team/etc. Unimaginative financiers already have an idea of what a 21 Jump Street movie will look like because it already exists.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes trailer

Still disappointed that Franco hasn't returned (mainly because before that news, I had a general outline in mind of where things would go and I kinda want to see that play out), but the director (Matt Reeves) and especially Gary Oldman get me cautiously excited again.

It was incredibly low-brow, somewhat predictable, but landed a few good laughs.

It was also one of the more pleasant surprises of last year. The sequel looks like it's basically the same movie set in college, but the "original" managed to mix low-brow humor with some fairly inspired comedy. Good action comedies are few and far between, so I'm all for a sequel, in theory. We'll see if they manage to do more than just rehash the first one.
