Post New found respect for Ashton Kuchar
This may get moved to the open forum board but:

If you haven't seen it, check out Kuchar's acceptance speech at the teen choice awards the other night. While by all accounts he has always been a smart individual, maybe preparing/studying for Steve jobs sparked something in Ashton, and I wish to god more of Hollywood would talk like this to young people.

My favorite quote:
he talks about the meager jobs he had as a teenager, and goes on to say, "I've never had a job in my life that I was better than..." and later talks about how being smart is sexy.

Our adolescents, teenagers, college students, and post grads absolutely need to hear this more often.

I have a feeling this speech went right over those screaming teenagers' heads, but good for him for showing up and trying to promote maybe the most important message of this generation's life time.

Anyway, good for Kuchar. He seemed sincere.

Perhaps it takes great intelligence and ability to play an idiot so convincingly.
I think that one aspect of him is his loyalty. I have heard that we was offered major roles but he turned them down so that he could continue with "That 70's show".
He was very good in "The butterfly effect"
