The second film club discussion of Wake in Fright was solid, however participation was a little weak.

Regardless, I still wanted to pose the question: Anybody interested in a third round? If so, what film? We had discussed Holy Motors in the past, but other suggestions can definitely be made considering Holy Motors may not be readily available yet.

I didn't participate in the last one because I couldn't find Wake in Fright anywhere. I don't have Netflix, and I couldn't find it to rent or download. But I'll definitely be on board for another one.

We haven't really had a specific Holy Motors thread yet, and a lot of people have seen it by now. It's certainly a film that's worth discussing. Though I think a number of digital download/streaming sources have censored the film in the US, so it's probably a good idea that people try and track down the original version if we choose it.

Beardman, I haven't heard of any censoring going on with Holy Motors here in the states, can you please elaborate on what you've heard??

Here's where I read it. Seems it's only for VOD services like iTunes or Amazon. I know the blu-ray and DVD are definitely uncensored, but I'm not sure about other services.

I feel bad for not contributing much at all to the last Film Club discussion. I watched Wake In Fright a couple weeks before the discussion started, and that might have been a reason as to why I didn't join in as much. My memory of it had already started to fade.

With that said, I definitely want to contribute more to the next Film Club, especially if the selection is Holy Motors. So much to talk about with that one, it would be a great choice. There shouldn't be too much of a problem with availability either.

I'm in. I moved Holy Motors to the top of my Netflix queue because I'm assuming that's the pick. If not, oh well, I want to see it anyway.

I assume everyone is good with Holy Motors, so we will go with that for our next viewing/discussion.

I'm in! I have a copy on my fireplace at home and aim to watch it Saturday night.

Didn't get the chance to watch this weekend. Was out on a 30th birthday party Friday night, was too rough Saturday and too tired yesterday.

Will definately get around to it in the next couple of days.
