I'm guessing anywhere between 90% and 96%. Anyone else seeing the complete trilogy in IMAX, by the way?

I'll give a guess on this after I see the film. I'm planning on hitting one of the many midnight showings on Thursday in the coming week.

Gut reaction without in any way knowing the quality of the film would be upper 80s. Even some of the more rapturous reviews of Dark Knight felt it was bloated a bit and that the Two Face story and the sonar action scene were a bit tacked on. I didn't agree, but I'd think an even longer movie is going to naturally lend itself to more complaints along those lines.

If, however, Nolan managed to make a longer movie that feels less bloated, well... well done, sir. We shall see.

82%

ACTUALLY NO! WAIT!

I'll go with 81.7582731957691273978%

And just to show how confident I am, I'm betting one million reelview credits, to be used at your local reelviews store.

I agree with you. I'd say anywhere between 90% to 98%. Would love to see it get up to 100% but that's probably not going to happen.

I'm not seeing it on IMAX, but I'll be seeing the complete trilogy at my local regal cinemas.

Not while there's free speech, no. I'd say 78%.

I feel like most of what earns 100% (or close to it) tend to either be foreign, animated, or documentaries (those examples are obvious) or stuff that is appealing and entertaining to a huge audience, but not necessarily great movies (the newest Star Trek and The Social Network come to mind). Of films that have been released since the inception of RT, very few that earn massively high ratings are films that I love. If they are able to be in the 90% range, I find that they tend to be films I like but don't love. My top 3 since '99 scored 87%, 83%, and 78%, respectively. Nothing to sneeze at in terms of rating, but it speaks to my biggest problem with RT, which is that it still doesn't measure how much someone likes or doesn't like it, it simply measures which way they lean. Therefore films that are appealing and nice beat out films that challenge and stretch in terms of RT score.

As far as TDKR, my belief is that it will be around 82%. I could certainly see 78% as MGames stated. If the movie is the best damn film of all time (which it won't be) it'll have detractors who take it down for no other reason than to go against the flow. I think it ends up decently below TDK's 94%. I hope it ends up that way because of unnecessary hatred, but I'm betting my dog and lot that the film is bloated.

My only hope is that it has an ending similar to that of the show The Wire and that

[Reveal] Spoiler:
Bruce Wayne dies. Seems the right conclusion, and JGL can take over for him.

Hopefully no higher than 85.

I want it to be dark enough to alientate teeny boppers and the reviewers that pander to them.
