I know the movie might not look like a masterpiece but that's no reason to be elitist and skip movies that could be really good. I'm not sure I like James' new attitude.

I don't know if it's necessarily elitism. Perhaps he finds Ksty Perry's caterwauling annoying. Or he might simply not be interested.

I think we can safely say that if James ever reviewed this cinematic masterpiece, it would be the first and only film to ever achieve a five star rating.

James hasn't reviewed a concert film since Year Of The Horse(which he declared worst film of the year) so it's not the least bit surprising that he's not seeing this, plus he's not in Katy Perry's target demographic and probably isn't a fan of her music, so he wouldn't be able to review the film without sounding biased.

I like Katy Perry, but not enough to pay to see one of her concerts in a theater or in real life.

I'll probably see it. In 2-D, if possible, so I won't have to wipe the whipped cream off my glasses.

Katy is HOT, there's no doubt about it... and, unlike Britney, she's not totally devoid of brains AND appears to actually have a modicum of genuine talent. But I'm not the least bit surprised James isn't reviewing it.

I think a better question is why isn't James reviewing People Like Us? I personally think that movie looks very good.

It looks to be a formulaic relationship film, and JB reviewed a superior one in The Intouchables.
