If you could watch one movie right before your death, what would it be? I'd choose Forrest Gump, it has life and history all rolled into one.

Hmm, maybe Cloud Atlas. Many genres for one movie, and you also get to feel so much about humanity before yours ends.

Probably 2001. It's all about transitions and shit.

Oooooooh nice choice by Cloud Atlas. I'd go with Zulu. It was my favorite movie for so long (and to some degree still is) and I used to watch it as a tradition every time I was sick from school. Would be apt to watch it before dying.

Cloud Atlas is a great choice, nice and long too. I think I'd go for Bladerunner though myself.

Blade Runner's a great choice.

Man, who knew that sci-fi would be the go-to genre for existential epiphanies?

Blade Runner's a perfect choice. Perfect. I kind of want to say Citizen Kane because cinema, but Blade Runner's too good.

I'd pick one that won't be made for about 80 years or so.

Best answer.

I'm looking forward to Bond #60, myself. I hear that's the one where we find out what happened to the nuclear scientist who was pushed overboard in Thunderball.

Sticking with the sci-fi tendencies here, I'm going with Dark City. Ironic how Mr. Hand finally discovers that which makes us human before he himself perishes.

Another great choice. Why can't we watch two anyway?
I'd also like to add Donnie Darko (original theatrical cut) to this "list".

I think that It's A Wonderful Life would be excellent.

For me, that's a movie that talks about how much there is to live for. I'd be sad while watching it, knowing that I would die afterwards.
