This mini film fest sounds awesome. A 24 hour film marathon at an Alamo Drafthouse? I'm definitely going to try to get a ticket next year...apparently it's almost impossible though.

That sounds absolutely amazing!
My expectations for the Hobbit rose even more (if that's possible) after reading this.
I agree with everything they said about Tintin. (it's been out here for months already). Definitely worth a watch, and visually stunning, but Tintin himself is just too perfect. It is amazing, though, what Spielberg was able to do with the camera when freed from the restraints of actually having a physical camera to work with. Some incredible sequences. Also, the 3D was very good, and the color quite vibrant and clear.
