I very much agree...I should have added that to my own post. I think its especially cynical given that the story is obviously not (nor will be any time soon)
over in any real sense. Freedom from prison is wonderful and of course the start, but it doesn't fix anyone's life. I think the only way this story can be effective and not exploitive is if it deals with just that: dealing with life after freedom. If it's told in a traditional, court-case style with victory at the end, seems like it won't work at all.
