I'm not sure if such a topic exists but I've often searched the archives for reviews of certain movies that I watch and on occasion, have found nothing.

Obviously James hasn't reviewed everything under the sun but I'm personally keen to know what he thought of certain gems/turds that he never reviewed officially.

Last night I watched The 51st State for probably the 1000th time and I wondered if James had ever reviewed it. I can't seem to find it anywhere in the searches so unless I'm being a tard, I don't think it has been done.

Just a thought, or suggestion, or random statement - You'd probably be better off PMing James with this question. He rarely, and by rarely I mean never, posts in this area of the forum. I can't remember his last post in here. That post, whenever it was, certainly didn't fall in the calendar year 2010.

Your question, though, is a good one. I'm legitimately curious to know too. I would imagine there aren't any he LOVES that he hasn't reviewed. He has reviews for his entire Top 100 and honorable mentions, so it seems logical at the very least.

Yes James actually DID review the 51st State as a matter of fact and he gave it 3 stars, the likely reason why you coudn't find the review of it was becuase James didn't review the film under that title (I.E. the 51st State has a completely different title in the U.S.-here it's title is Formula 51) just search under that title and you should find his review of it.

Pete is right (who is left?). Once upon a time JB would read and respond to all sorts of threads, but these days it's just the "Berardinelli's Writings". Who can blame him? Let's not forget that "critic" isn't his day job. So, if there's a certain movie email or PM him because we† certainly won't know what James thought if he didn't publish anything.

If anybody's feeling really ambitious, we could construct reviews that James hasn't written yet, using lines from reviews that he has.
