Like:

Homeland and Breaking Bad's nominations.

Dislike:

Justified was pretty much completely shut out. No Timothy Olyphant. No Walton Goggins. No Neal McDonough. The only I saw it get was a guest actor nod for Jeremy Davies. Ugh.

The Good Wife didn't do well either aside from Margulies, Baranski and Panjabi.

Parks and Recreation not getting in for best comedy series.

Would have liked to have seen Hugh Laurie get in there as well. Especially since this is House's final season.

I don't really watch most of these shows. I like all noms for Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Louie, Parks & Rec, and the Daily Show. Those are all great shows and the people who work on them are incredibly talented.

I'm particularly pleased that the Community episode Remedial Chaos Theory got a best writing nom. This episode might have the smartest writing ever to grace a sitcom. It's a damn shame that Community seems to have been otherwise overlooked in favor of lesser comedies.

Also, the link in the original post is broken. It looks like you copied and pasted the shortened link as it displays in the message board software, as opposed to the actual link.

Some tough competition with in the drama category. Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire. Personally I hope Jared Harris wins best supporting actor. His last episode on Mad Men left me emotionally rattled. Though Giancarlo Esposit was also mesmerizing, as was Aaron Paul. Shit I'm also forgetting about Peter Dinklage! Gah! Too difficult to choose!

Wait a minute -- I thought, because of its 17-month hiatus, Mad Men wouldn't be eligible for awards this year (since it was eligible last year). :? Did they bend the rules or something?

Noop. Most years Mad Men premiers in either July or August, and thus qualifies for the following years awards. So last years Emmy's was for the 2010 season of Mad Men. The latest season of Mad Men premiered in March 2012, and thus qualifies for this year's Emmy Awards.
