I just finished the first season of this and it's pretty good. Plenty of gratuitous nudity by comely young actresses. Jason and Lafayette are funny to watch. Don't think I've seen a show with as many uses of the F word (maybe Dexter and Breaking Bad outdo it?). And a fair amount of gore. What more do you need?

Seriously, I'm not a big fan of vampire films that treat the phenomenon as, well, NOT a phenomenon (re: they're everywhere, such as in that film Daybreakers).

Isn't Breaking Bad infamous for only having one F-word per season?? I thought they always saved it for their big dramatic moments.

I think Deadwood must have the record for the most profanity in a TV Series.

I've mentioned The Sopranos twice in this thread, but I guess people just don't want to believe it. Here's a YouTube clip where someone compiled all uses of the word "fuck" and "shit" in the show throughout its run. This clip is part one and covers seasons 1, 2, and a very small part of season 3.

Of course I've watched Deadwood- it was a great series, and I totally get what you're talking about when you refer to the profanity. Calamity Jane (Robin Weigert) in particular seemingly couldn't talk without using swear words. I'm just saying that The Sopranos beats it out by a long shot in the F-bomb department.
