Futurama 2.0

Post Re: Futurama 2.0
One of my favorite Futurama moments was the finale of the first series, "The Devil's Hand Are Idle Playthings", where Fry uses the Robot Devil's hands to play holophoner well so as to woo Leila, when he is forced to give the Devil's hands back, and the crowd leaves, only Leila stays and tells Fry, "I wanna hear how it ends." Its a wonderful moment, with characters that you have come to care about and hope for their future. Its a truly beautiful moment.

So far I am enjoying the new episodes. I hear purist fans complaining, and while I suppose it hasn't generated as much truly great material as some of its older episodes, it's still funny and it is still Futurama! I'm glad to see it back. I don't watch much TV but Futurama was my favourite back when it was on. My favourite episode was probably "Where no fan has gone before," but my favourite moment has to be from the episode set in the slurm factory (I can't recall the exact title) when Leela's punishment for finding out the secret of Slurm is to be mutated into a Slurm queen.

Minion:"But your highness, she is but a commoner! Her Slurm will taste foul!"
Queen: "Exactly! That's why we'll market it as NEW Slurm and then when everybody hates it we'll bring back Slurm Classic and make BILLIONS! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!"

That was always my favourite line.
