Awww, Conan isn't THAT bad. The seasons of The Simpsons where he was a writer were the best ones, IMO.

It's a gutsy move for Conan and TBS. Can't be any worse than FOX. They've always failed at late night tv. How many times did they try in the 90s?

Agreed in part. Conan, the writer, is a gifted man. Conan, the improv, is also talented. He makes for a great interview subject and his sense of humor is among the best. But Conan The Talkshow Host is just another pimp for celeb wares. If his show was nothing but goofy performances and the antics that made up maybe ~10 minutes of his broadcast hour I'd be all in. Since he'll no doubt be interviewing Jessica Simpson about her new movie... fuck it.
