 Re: Heroes (Spoilers Welcome)
IMO, season 2 was kind of doomed from the start. The original idea behind Heroes was to explore a different set of characters' reactions to their powers, with a few stories connecting back to the "Patients Zero". The network kind of dumped all over that, and instead of getting a clean slate of characters and stories, we were left with characters who had run their course in season 1 (Sylar, Peter, Niki/Jessica, Claire) and had nowhere to go.
The webisodes are a glimpse of what Heroes could/should have been, and what it was during its first season.

 Re: Heroes (Spoilers Welcome)
I kind of agree with you, masson; these last two seasons feel like the sequels to Pirates of the Caribbean. One has to ask: where is this going? Why is this going there? Who the hell is that? What happened to that other person? Oh, don't tell me that he's related to the Petrellis too...
With Peter sans powers, his character serves no purpose. There is nothing he can do other than send vague text messages to Claire now, who needs to get something out with HRG already. And our last interesting character - Sylar - needs to get to his Dad's house and get rid of this stupid kid.
I haven't seen the last 2 episodes, so this message may be completely invalid by now, but it reflects things that everyone was thinking.

 Re: Heroes (Spoilers Welcome)
I noticed nobody has posted on here in weeks (maybe cause no one really watches Heroes anymore). Anyway the last several weeks have been a marked improvement over volume 3 with the last episode of the season really drilling the point home that this show still has some life left in it. There was a sense of closure without closing things too much and all in all it ended this up and down season with a bang. Season 3 started on a high note and ended on one.

 Re: Heroes (Spoilers Welcome)
I've recently started rewatching S1. What I like about S1 is that (almost) everything is resolved. I hate it when shows (such as Smallville) end the season with a cliffhanger, so you have to buy the next season in order to find out how the battle is resolved.
